Namaste is not just a word that I say at the end of my yoga class, its a lifestyle for me. I walk around and interact with people everyday who sometimes I feel that they “test my faith.” Yet having this reminder that I am so much more than my flesh, or my personality, or how I’m so much more than what people perceive me to be, allows me to constantly remain in the highest place possible. Namaste is a recognition to me that I must always call upon my higher self, and that I must always see your highest self before anything else. I honor the place in you that your highest spirit resides in. That is of love, light, and peace. When I am able to recognize that place in you, and you are able to recognize that place in me, we make a beautiful connection.
